The Storm Water Annual Report provides an in depth summary of the City Storm Water Best Management Practices implementation. The General Permit required a Guidance Document in lieu of the City's previous Storm Water Management Plan. The new General Permit became effective July 1, 2013. In February 2013, the State adopted a new General Permit for Storm Water Discharges from Small Municipal Storm Sewer Systems. The General Permit requires the City to develop and implement a comprehensive Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) to reduce the amount of pollutants discharged in urban runoff, and to improve and protect water quality.
